Fundstratโs head of research, Tom Lee, has told investors to prepare for a rough opening to 2026 before conditions improve later in the year. He warned that political friction and tariff talk could trigger meaningful setbacks for both stocks and Bitcoin, even as blockchain and AI remain long-term strengths.
Tom Leeโs Call And The Near-Term Picture
Lee said a more dovish stance from the US Federal Reserve and the end of quantitative tightening set the stage for gains later on.
He put a possible market correction in the mid-teens range, estimating a pullback of about 15% to 20% at one stage.
He pointed to geopolitics โ including renewed tariff threats โ and rising political divides as brakes on an immediate, broad rally. Reports note he still expects a late-year rebound if policy eases and liquidity returns.
Reports say the White Houseโs selective support for certain industries could tilt which sectors lead the recovery.

Deleveraging Still Hitting Crypto Liquidity
Lee argued that recent squeezes have left crypto markets fragile. Market makers have been weakened by repeated forced exits, and that has made price moves jumpier.
He also noted that a fresh Bitcoin all-time high would be an important signal that the market has worked through those stresses, though he didnโt repeat earlier extreme price targets in his latest remarks.
Reports stress the difference between a technical bounce and a move backed by wider adoption and deeper institutional flows.
Heavy Bitcoin Selloff
Despite warnings that a painful decline may still unfold, some investors are not backing away entirely. Reports say parts of the market continue to view sharp pullbacks as buying chances rather than exit signals.
Even with uncertainty around tariffs and global politics, Lee and his camp believes disciplined dip buying โ spread out over time โ offers better odds than trying to time a perfect bottom while fear dominates headlines.
โAnd so a painful decline may lie ahead but we would โbuy the dip'โ, Lee said in an X post.
Reports indicate that more than $1.8 billion was liquidated over a 48-hour stretch as bitcoin lost ground.
Bitcoin sank to roughly $88,500 during the slide, and Coinglass data showed the bulk of wiped positions were longs โ a sign that traders had been positioned for higher prices.
The selloff erased gains made earlier in the year and pulled crypto capitalization sharply lower, in one of the biggest drops since mid-November.

PLUM โย Fresh plums are used here, but frozen berries will work just as well. You can use any variety of plums available with you.
LEMON JUICE โ Freshly squeezed lemon juice is used.ย It also add a bright flavor as well as a boost of natural pectin to help thicken the blueberry sauce.
CINNAMON โ Iโve used cinnamon powder. You can also use cinnamon stick. You can discard the as stick once the compote is ready. Cinnamon gives it a nice hint of spice thatโs great for fall. SUBSTITUTION โ You can use vanilla extract or essence or can totally skip it.
SUGAR โ Sugar is used to slightly sweeten the sauce and balance the tartness from the lemon and the plum. You can add the sugar as per the sweetness of your plum, especially if the plums are off-season and not very sweet. SUBSTITUTION โ You use maple syrup to sweeten the compote but you can also use honey for a non-vegan version if youโd like.
WATER โ Very less water is used to cook the plum.

Note: If you prefer a mashed texture, use a potato masher or the back of the ladle to mash the plum as it cooks.
Add in the lenon juice and give a quick stir.
Remove pan from heat and allow to cool down completely.
Transfer the plum compote onto a sterilized jar. Store in a refrigerator for longer shelf life and use a clean spoon on every serving.

This is the BEST chocolate sauce recipe Iโve been making over the years. This is the absolute favorite in my repertoire. I came up with it years ago when I was compelled to create a chocolate sauce that was rich, thick, glossy for one of my favourite chocolate cake recipe.
You only need a few ingredients to make this homemade chocolate sauce and it tastes better than any chocolate syrup you can buy at the store. Silky smooth, glossy, not overly sweet, and incredibly chocolatey. This is the chocolate sauce I make each time I need it.
I love my chocolate sauce with chocolate. It makes the sauce richer in taste and texture. Many donโt use chocolate for making chocolate sauce. They make the work done with cocoa powder and cornstarch. To be honest I donโt like using cornstarch in my chocolate sauce.
Here I have used Ossoroโs cocoa powder. You can use any brand of cocoa powder, but make sure to use unsweetened cocoa powder.
I used a bit of butter in my chocolate sauce which tends to give an extra gloss to the chocolate sauce, though adding butter is totally optional. You just need to use a good quality chocolate and cocoa powder. Youโll appreciate the difference in this intensely dark and flavorful chocolate sauce.
Then comes the essence, though you can skip the essence here. I have used Ossoroโs chocolate truffle essence. You can totally skip the essence or use vanilla or chocolate essence.

Well using butter is optional here. โ Water โ Used room temperature water. โ Chocolate truffle essence โ Ossoroโs chocolate truffle essence is used in this chocolate sauce recipe. A few drops of this essence does the work.
INGREDIENT SUBSTITUTION โ Granulated sugar can be substituted with brown sugar. โ Use your choice of chocolate like milk chocolate, semisweet chocolate or bittersweet chocolate instead of dark chocolate. โ Ossoroโs chocolate truffle essence can be substituted with vanilla essence or chocolate essence. โ You can use milk instead of water. Use whole milk for extra richness.
VARIATIONS FOR CHOCOLATE SAUCE โ Use milk instead of water for a creamier texture. โ Turn it into mocha chocolate sauce by including a teaspoon of espresso powder or coffee powder. โ Give it a spicy Mexican flair by adding a dash of cayenne pepper or chili powder. โ You can make chocolate sauce with a combination of cocoa powder and cornstarch if you donโt want to use chocolate. Add 2 tsp cornstarch dissolved in bit of water and add. You will need to increase the liquid to 150-200 ml, depends upon the thickness of sauce you want. You can increase the sugar upto ยฝ cup (100 grams)

Step by step pictorial instructions to make homemade chocolate sauce
Take sugar, cocoa powder and water in a saucepan.
Stir well to combine and make sure there are no lumps.
Now turn on the heat to low-medium flame. Keep cooking stirring it constantly.
As soon as the mixture started to heat up, the mixture will thicken up and gets darker in color. It will take only approximately 2-3 minutes.
Once the mixture becomes thick (coat the spoon), reduce the flame to low and add the chopped chocolate, essence and butter. Stir it constantly for about a minute and once the chocolate started melting turn off the stove.
Continue stirring the mixture until the chocolate is completely melted and your thick, glossy and silky smooth chocolate sauce is ready.
It will thicken more as it cools down. Allow to cool down completely and store in a sterilized jar.

Boudin King Cake topped with a Crawfish Cheese Dip
Quick, Easy and Delicious! This is a different take on a King Cake. Your traditional King Cakes are a sweet pastry with an sweet icing.
But Iโm switching it up and doing a spicy, savory King Cake Recipe using Boudin Sausage and a Crawfish Cheese Dip. Then to really take it to the next level (and make it look awesome) I top it with green onions and crushed Pork Rinds!
Preheat smoker to 350ยฐF; Remove boudin links from casing and smoke for 10-15 minutes to warm through.
Combine room temp cream cheese with half the crawfish tails and season with 2 Tablespoons King Craw Cajun Seasoning and 1 teaspoon Killer Hogs Hot Sauce.
Arrange crescent rolls in an oval shape on a baking sheet covered with butcher paper or aluminum foil to prevent sticking.
Spread cream cheese mixture on center of crescent roll dough and place boudin link over the top. Fold the crescent roll dough around the sausage and cream cheese mixture, forming into the shape of a King Cake.
Place on smoker and cook for 45 โ 55 min or until it browns on the outside.
In a pan, sautรฉ red bell pepper and onion until soft. Add garlic and sauce for 1 minute more. Add other half of the crawfish tails and season with remaining King Craw Cajun Seasoning and 1 teaspoon Killer Hogs Hot Sauce. Add white cheese dip and turn off heat. Remove King Cake from smoker. Drizzle the crawfish cheese dip. Top with pork rind crumbs and garnish with thinly sliced green onion.
