XRP Price Prediction: Ripple CEO Says Bitcoin Will Double by 2026 – How High Can XRP Go?

5 December 2025 at 18:03

Brad Garlinghouse argues that Bitcoin has yet to realise its full bullishness this cycle, and with it, bullish XRP price predictions may still be on track.

Speaking at Binance Blockchain Week 2025, he dismissed the current bearish mood around crypto as temporary and completely out of sync with the fundamentals supporting the market.

2026 has the potential to be “the most bullish year in crypto yet,” with institutions paving the way for a $180,000 Bitcoin.

— Crypto Rover (@cryptorover) December 3, 2025

The pro-crypto regulatory shift in the U.S. has unlocked one-fifth of global GDP, with institutional-level demand only just being tapped into with the introduction of ETFs.

And they have only just permeated the mainstream with traditional asset manager giants outside of digital-native firms playing “catch-up,” introducing their vast clientele.

Garlinghouse rejects the idea that ETF demand has peaked, noting the few crypto offerings represent just 1–2% of all ETF assets, a tiny fraction that leaves enormous upside.

XRP is a standout beneficiary with steps towards regulation, like the GENIUS stablecoin Act, paving the way for its infrastructure, like stablecoins, to become mainstream.

Ripple’s stablecoin approvals in Abu Dhabi and Dubai reinforce that point; stablecoins are no longer experimental, they’re becoming embedded in real financial systems.

XRP Price Prediction: How High Can XRP go in 2026?

December is shaping a strong launchpad into 2026 with a strong confluence of support laying the groundwork for a 4-month descending channel breakout.

The lower boundary of this consolidation is about to be retested, aligning with the level that has provided a firm bottom market throughout the bullish phase of the market cycle at $1.90.

A strong technical setup for a launchpad, and momentum indicators could support it.

While its most recent attempt has ended in rejection, the RSI is now testing the 50 neutral line after weeks in deep oversold territory. Strength is building towards a bullish shift.

While the MACD verges on a death cross below the signal line, it may prove short-lived as XRP nears the confluence zone.

The key breakout threshold lies at $2.70, a former strong support level that recently flipped to resistance. Reclaiming this zone could confirm a breakout targeting an 80% upside move to $3.70.

And with further U.S. interest rate easing expected into and growing institutional involvement, the setup could extend much higher, eyeing $5 in the approach of past all-time highs for a 150% run.

Best Crypto to Buy Today 5 December – XRP, Solana, PEPE

By: Tim Hakki
5 December 2025 at 17:35

Bitcoin is currently holding the fort above $91k after a prolonged downturn sent the world’s favourite crypto down to a seven-month low of $82,000 by November 21, not long after Bitcoin notched a new all-time high (ATH) of $126,080 on October 6.

The wider crypto market jumped 6% yesterday, lifting total capitalization to about $3.24 trillion. Today, momentum has cooled with a near 2% drop to $3.18 trillion. Bulls remain optimistic that this pause is consolidation, not capitulation.

Additionally, with crypto entering maturity, Bitcoin dominance is generally falling, indicating that the next substantial bull market may well be powered by altcoins. With that in mind, here’s why XRP, Solana, and Pepe are the best crypto to buy right now.

XRP ($XRP): Transforming Global Cross-Border Payments

Ripple’s XRP ($XRP) continues to dominate the international value-transfer niche thanks to its fast settlement speeds and minimal fees. The XRP Ledger (XRPL) serves as Ripple’s answer to slow, expensive legacy systems like SWIFT.

Major institutions, including the UN Capital Development Fund and U.S. government agencies, have highlighted the XRPL’s utility, while Ripple’s expanding network of fintech partners has helped XRP secure its position as the third-largest non-stablecoin, now capitalizing over $124 billion.

Ripple’s rollout of RLUSD, a dollar-backed stablecoin, marks a strategic move to capture the next generation of global payments infrastructure. Every RLUSD transaction burns a small amount of XRP, gradually reducing supply and reinforcing XRP’s long-term value proposition.

best crypto: xrp

Following the resolution of its five-year legal battle with the SEC, XRP rallied to a July high of $3.65. Its current price near $2.09 represents a 43% retracement, but indicators suggest resilience. Furthermore, the relative strength index (RSI) sits at 36, indicating the token is likely to conclude today’s -2.8% selloff over the weekend and swing back into green.

The recent introduction of nine U.S.-based XRP ETFs is expected to accelerate institutional inflows throughout the holiday season. Additional ETF approvals may follow, and if Congress successfully passes comprehensive crypto legislation before year-end, XRP could target $15 or more by 2026.

Solana (SOL): The Speed Leader Closing In on a Potential $1,200 Target

Solana ($SOL) has cemented itself as a top-tier smart-contract network, prized for its lightning-fast transactions and low fees. With a market cap surpassing $76 billion and almost $9 billion in total value locked across its DeFi protocols, Solana remains Ethereum’s most formidable competitor.

New Solana spot ETFs from Grayscale and Bitwise, launched late last month, could open the door to significant capital inflows, echoing earlier institutional waves that propelled Bitcoin and Ethereum to new heights.

After dipping near $100 earlier this year, SOL now trades around $136, holding firm at a critical support zone. A bullish flag pattern has taken shape since mid-September, signaling a potential breakout.

best crypto sol

The next major resistance sits near $250; a decisive move above that level could propel SOL beyond its prior ATH of $293.31, with a 4x up to $1,200 emerging as an ambitious yet attainable stretch target if the festive season turns into a bull market.

At the same time, Solana has become a leading hub for Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization, with giants like BlackRock and Franklin Templeton choosing the network to deploy tokenized financial products.

Pepe (PEPE): The Internet’s Favorite Frog Prepares for a Potential Upswing

Launched in April 2023, Pepe ($PEPE) quickly rose through the meme-token ranks, capitalizing on the global popularity of Matt Furie’s iconic character. Now boasting a market cap above $1.9 billion, PEPE enjoys an unmatched cultural presence, amplified when Elon Musk briefly switched his X profile picture to a Pepe meme, fueling speculation about his meme coin interests. Musk is publicly known to hold Bitcoin and Dogecoin.

Currently priced near $0.000004554, PEPE sits roughly 84% below its late-2024 high of $0.00002803 after a quiet summer and subdued fourth quarter.

Its RSI is now around 45, which indicates the token is neither overbought nor oversold and has plenty of headroom for further gains over the weekend.

With the token hovering near its lowest valuation in nearly two years, PEPE offers traders a high-upside entry point ahead of the next major market run. Clearer U.S. regulatory guidance could revive risk appetite and fuel a meme coin gold rush, potentially giving PEPE the momentum to retest its all-time high before year-end.

Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER): A Meme-Powered Bitcoin Layer-2 Built for 2026 and Beyond

One emerging project generating buzz ahead of 2026 is Bitcoin Hyper ($HYPER), a Bitcoin layer-2 solution wrapped in meme-culture branding. Despite its playful façade, HYPER targets real technical improvements with high-speed throughput, ultra-low fees, and smart-contract functionality.

Developed using the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM), HYPER features decentralized governance and a Canonical Bridge designed for seamless Bitcoin movement across multiple chains.

The presale has already raised around $29 million, and prominent analyst Borch Crypto forecasts the token could surge up to 100× upon exchange listing.

A recent Coinsult audit revealed zero contract vulnerabilities, boosting investor confidence. HYPER tokens power transaction fees, governance, and staking, with presale users able to earn up to 40% APY.

With the project’s full platform release planned for 2026, both seasoned Bitcoin users and newcomers have the chance to position themselves early in what may evolve into a major enhancement of Bitcoin’s utility landscape.

China’s Alibaba AI Predicts the Price of XRP, Cardano, Dogecoin by the End of 2025

By: Tim Hakki
5 December 2025 at 17:30

The newest iteration of Alibaba’s so-called “ChatGPT rival,” Qwen3-MAX, has rolled out fresh AI-driven price forecasts for XRP, Cardano, and Dogecoin as the month draws to a close. The model warns that all three cryptocurrencies could experience heightened turbulence over the coming weeks, with major moves possible in either direction.

Below are Qwen3-MAX’s two-track predictions showing both the potential upside and the risks each asset may face throughout December.

XRP (XRP): Alibaba AI Sees Either a Drop to $0.15 or a Run Toward $10 by Year-End

In its pessimistic projection, Alibaba’s model suggests Ripple’s XRP ($XRP) could retreat from its current $2.06 level to around $0.15, a drop of roughly 93%, should bearish sentiment continue dominating the market.

alibaba ai predicts xrp
Source: Alibaba

Such a correction would contrast sharply with XRP’s powerful performance earlier this year, when the token soared to a new seven-year high of $3.65 in July following Ripple’s pivotal legal win over the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Throughout most of 2025, XRP has hovered between $2 and $3. Its relative strength index (RSI) now sits at a neutral 37 and is downtrending as traders cash in on profits today from a brief price bounce yesterday.

However, Alibaba’s bullish outlook paints a very different picture, one in which XRP surges 385% to touch $10 before New Year’s Eve, almost tripling its all-time high.

The recent debut of nine U.S. spot XRP ETFs could fuel a wave of institutional interest this holiday season, echoing the early inflows seen when Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs first launched.

More ETF approvals are anticipated in the coming months, increasing the probability that 2026 becomes a transformative year for XRP. Investors who accumulate now may find themselves well-positioned ahead of that shift.

Cardano (ADA): Alibaba Predicts a Potential 2,274% Explosion in December

Cardano ($ADA) remains one of the most academically rigorous and research-driven blockchain ecosystems. Launched by Ethereum co-founder Charles Hoskinson, the network prioritizes peer-reviewed development, security, scalability, and long-term sustainability.

With a market cap exceeding $15.6 billion and more than $189 million in TVL, Cardano continues to stand out among layer-1 networks thanks to its active development community and expanding suite of decentralized applications.

According to Alibaba AI, ADA could surge to approximately $10 by early 2026, an extraordinary 2,274% climb from its current price at $0.4212 and more than triple its 2021 peak of $3.09.

Analysts note that Cardano’s carefully paced upgrades and robust fundamentals could position it as a major winner in the next DeFi-centric bull cycle.

Still, Alibaba’s bearish prediction warns that ADA could slip toward $0.10 if macro weakness worsens, representing a downside of just over 76% from today’s price.

Dogecoin (DOGE): Alibaba AI Targets $2.50 in Moonshot Scenario and $0.02 in Potential Collapse

Dogecoin ($DOGE), initially created in 2013 as a parody of the crypto boom, now accounts for roughly $21.7 billion in market value, representing nearly half of the $45.8 billion meme-coin sector.

The token formed several bullish chart setups in late summer and early autumn, but momentum has since cooled. In Alibaba’s more negative scenario, DOGE could sink to $0.02, a drop of about 86% from its current price of $0.1387.

Dogecoin’s all-time high of $0.7316 came during the retail-driven mania of 2021, and its long-discussed $1 milestone remains elusive. Yet Alibaba’s bullish case suggests DOGE could actually rally 1,700% to $2.50, or 18x its current price.

Meanwhile, real-world adoption continues to grow: Tesla accepts DOGE for merchandise, and payment platforms including PayPal and Revolut support DOGE transactions.

Maxi Doge (MAXI): A Rapidly Emerging Meme Coin Overlooked by Alibaba’s Forecasts

While Alibaba AI highlights the upside potential for major blue-chip cryptocurrencies, early-stage presale tokens potentially deliver far larger percentage gains. One fast-growing contender is Maxi Doge ($MAXI), which has already brought in nearly $4.3 million as it positions itself as the next breakout Doge-themed meme coin.

MAXI’s narrative follows Maxi Doge, a canine crypto bro and degen distant relative to the original Dogecoin. Maxi is obsessed with lifting weights, trading meme coins with 1,000x leverage, and cultivating a degen community across social media to help him usurp Dogecoin’s throne.

As an ERC-20 token, MAXI benefits from Ethereum’s energy-efficient proof-of-stake network and its massive developer ecosystem, advantages that Dogecoin’s older Bitcoin-style proof-of-work consensus mechanism does not offer.

The ongoing presale includes staking rewards of up to 72% APY, although yields decrease as more participants join in.

MAXI is currently priced at $0.0002715 in its active presale phase, with automated price increases scheduled in upcoming rounds. Buyers can participate using MetaMask or Best Wallet.

Dogecoin stands no chance!

Solana Vs. XRP: Clear Winner Emerges With ETF Net Flow Numbers

5 December 2025 at 17:00

With the crypto market showing signs of recovery, both the XRP and Solana Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) have attracted significant investor interest. The rivalry among major crypto ETFs has intensified, with XRP taking the spotlight amid its consistent surge in daily inflows and the Solana ETF recording significant outflows.

Solana ETFs See Largest Outflow Yet

Solana has entered a surprising phase of turbulence as its recently launched US Spot ETF struggles to maintain momentum after weeks of inflows. The latest data from Sosovalue reveal a sizable setback with a fresh withdrawal of $32.19 million, marking the third and largest outflow recorded since the investment product debuted in late October 2025.

The outflow, registered on December 3, came as a major surprise, especially given that the broader crypto market had been enjoying a slight reprieve from the bearishness weighing it down. Notably, Sosovalue’s data shows that the entire Solana ETF outflow originated from the 21Shares TSOL offering, which shed $41.79 million in a single session. Minor inflows into the remaining six Solana ETFs had softened the blow, reducing total outflow to $32.19.

Solana XRP 1

Since the launch of Solana ETFs, TSOL has been responsible for all negative flows posted, including the $13.55 million pullback on December 1 and the $8.10 million decline in late November. Across all sessions, 21Shares Solana ETF has now seen total outflows reach $101.51 million.

The weakness in TSOL stands in sharp contrast to Bitwise’s Solana ETF, BSOL. BSOL continues to outpace other investment products, with impressive cumulative inflows of $580.72 million, making it the most successful Solana ETF. Grayscale’s GSOL follows at a distant $89.01 million. Overall, the net cumulative inflows for the Solana ETF have reached $623.21 million. While this is impressive, it is still significantly behind the XRP ETF.

XRP Overtakes Solana ETF As It Nears $1 Billion Inflows

The latest on-chain numbers show the XRP ETF pulling ahead of the Solana ETF with surprising speed and volume. Analyst Neil Tolbert highlighted the rise in XRP ETF inflow this week, noting that growing institutional interest indicates the trend is only getting started. With more XRP ETFs expected to debut soon, Tolbert anticipates a significant rise in demand and inflows as traditional finance finally wakes up.

Five Spot XRP ETFs collectively hold more than $984 million in assets, with less than $16 million to reach the $1 billion inflow milestone. Canary Capital’s XRPC leads with $358.88 million, followed by Grayscale’s GXRP, Bitwise’s ETF, Franklin Templeton’s XRPZ, and finally REX-Osprey’s XRPR.

Solana XRP 2

According to SosoValue, the total XRP ETFs, excluding that of REX-Osprey, have attracted approximately $887.12 million in net cumulative inflows. Since its launch in November, the XRP ETF has recorded 15 days of positive inflows, in stark contrast to Solana ETFs, which have seen multiple outflows.

Despite Solana launching seven ETFs as early as October 2025 and XRP only introducing four last month, XRP ETFs have already surpassed Solana ETFs in total inflows by almost 30%. With fewer products and a later debut, XRP has emerged as the clear winner amongst the newest ETF entrants in 2025.

XRP ETFs Are About To Hit $1 Billion – Here’s How Much Is Flowing In Daily

5 December 2025 at 16:00

XRP ETFs are on the verge of hitting a significant milestone, with total Assets Under Management (AUM) approaching the $1 billion milestone. Since the launch of its ETF last month, hundreds of millions of dollars have been flowing in daily, making XRP the most successful new ETF entrant of 2025.

XRP ETFs Close In On $1 Billion

XRP ETFs have continued to experience skyrocketing growth and institutional demand, now rapidly closing in on the $1 billion inflow milestone. Over the past two weeks, all five XRP ETFs have recorded over $984.54 million in cumulative net inflows, just $15.46 million away from $1 billion. This explosive, accelerated growth has effectively solidified XRP’s position as the third-largest crypto ETF, behind Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Data from Sosovalue reports 15 consecutive days of positive flow, with the XRP ETF recording its highest single-day inflow on November 14 at $243.05 million. Over the last two weeks, all five XRP ETFs, including REX-Osprey, have seen notable inflows, reflecting growing institutional interest and demand.

XRP

According to crypto enthusiast @NADZOE93 on X, XRP has become the third cryptocurrency ever to surpass the $800 million ETF inflow threshold. She noted that while Spot Bitcoin ETFs reached this cap in just two days after their launch, Ethereum ETFs took 95 days. This officially positions XRP as the second-fastest crypto to hit the $800 million inflow mark.

Notably, strong inflows in the XRP ETF began on November 13 with the launch of Canary Capitals XRPC. A week later, Bitwise introduced its own XRP ETF, followed shortly by Grayscale and Franklin Templeton debuting their funds. Since then, investments have continued to pour in, with $26.17 million flowing in just yesterday alone, bringing the total to $887.12 million after 15 days of positive flow.

Crypto market analyst Neil Tolbert shared additional insights on the XRP ETF performance on X this week. He noted that five spot XRP ETFs are currently trading, with a combined $995 million in Assets Under Management. Canary Capital’s XRPC stands at the top of the market with $358.88 million, followed by Grayscale’s GXRP with $211.07 million, Bitwise’s ETF at $184.87 million, Franklin Templeton’s XRPZ at $132.3 million, and REX-Osprey at $108 million.

Tolbert has stated that more ETFs are reportedly in the pipeline, with institutional demand set to grow as traditional finance takes notice of XRP. With the race to a $1 billion inflow milestone heating up, XRP ETFs have already surpassed those of Solana and Dogecoin

Institutions Accumulate Over 400 Million XRP Through ETFs

Institutional demand for XRP is reaching new heights as data from ETF tracker XRP Insights show that a whopping 425.76 million tokens have been officially locked. This surge in accumulation comes as the five currently launched XRP ETFs collectively reach $984.54 million in AUM.

This large amount of XRP held in ETFs shows how quickly institutions are adopting, as investors increasingly seek regulated, transparent ways to gain exposure to cryptocurrencies. Analysts have also warned that if ETFs continue to absorb XRP at such a rapid pace, it could trigger a supply shock as the number of tokens in circulation declines.

XRP Price On The Verge Of Another Crash, But There’s Still Hope

5 December 2025 at 10:30

Crypto analyst CryptoInsight has indicated that the XRP price is on the verge of another crash, with a potential drop below the psychological $2 level. The analyst also revealed the level that the altcoin needs to reclaim to invalidate this bearish outlook.

XRP Price Risks Crash To Another Low

In an X post, CryptoInsight suggested that the XRP price could crash to a new low. This came as the analyst noted that on the lower time frame, the altcoin has made a higher low after bouncing from range lows. However, it has yet to make a higher high, which provides a bearish outlook.

The analyst further remarked that until the XRP price makes a higher high, there is likely to be more chop while questioning the possibility of another low revisit. He indicated that XRP will need to break the descending triangle and through the $2.30 level before a reversal can be on the cards.

XRP

However, CryptoInsight is still bullish on the XRP price in the long term. He noted that the higher-time-frame structure is still well and truly intact. The analyst added that the altcoin is holding the yearly range lows as support, which is also the previous 7-year resistance. In line with this, he declared that it is inevitable that XRP records a new all-time high (ATH) in the near future based on liquidity alone.

Meanwhile, the analyst remarked that he is uncertain whether the XRP price will wick out to the bottom first to regain momentum. Overall, he remains bullish on XRP. Crypto analyst CasiTrades had stated that XRP might need to record one last low before it reverses and rallies to new highs. She highlighted $1.80 and $1.64 as areas that XRP could bottom at.

XRP Likely To Retest $2.04 With Two Likely Scenarios

In her latest X post, CasiTrades stated that the XRP price is likely heading to retest the macro .5 Fib at $2.04. She noted that this level has been the most important one in the entire correction. Based on this, she outlined two scenarios that could play out if the altcoin drops to that level. The analyst described the first scenario as the bullish new trend.

Under this scenario, if $2.04 holds as support, the XRP price could break above the $2.41 resistance and push toward $2.65, confirming a new bullish wave structure is forming. CasiTrades remarked that this potential move would strongly suggest that the macro low is already in, with the altcoin eyeing new highs between $7 and $10.

Meanwhile, the second scenario is a bearish .618 support test. If the XRP price fails to hold $2.04, CasiTrades predicts that it would likely head toward $1.64, completing the full macro .618 retracement before launching into the macro Wave 3.

At the time of writing, the XRP price is trading at around $2.08, down over 4% in the last 24 hours, according to data from CoinMarketCap.

FUD Frenzy: XRP Battles Its Biggest Sentiment Drop In Months—Data

5 December 2025 at 06:00

According to an analytics report, XRP traded near $2.06 on Friday as social chatter around the token turned sharply negative after a two-month slide of about 30%.

Traders and data firms flagged a sudden rise in bearish messages, a shift from the more mixed views seen earlier this year. The mood has tightened around crypto, and XRP is not immune.

Crowd Mood Shifts To Fear

Based on reports from Santiment, its chart tracks XRP’s price against positive and negative comments and a combined sentiment line that aims to measure crowd feeling.

Recent readings pushed the balance into what Santiment calls the fear zone, where negative talk outweighs optimism. On this same model, Santiment pointed to Nov. 21 as a comparable moment.

Back then, XRP rallied more than 20% over the next three days before gains cooled. That past move is being used as a reference point by traders who watch social signals closely.

😨 XRP (-31% in the past 2 months), unlike Bitcoin, is seeing the most fear, uncertainty, & doubt (FUD) since October, according to our social data.

— Santiment (@santimentfeed) December 4, 2025

Short Squeezes And Reflexive Moves

Extreme pessimism can become a catalyst. When weaker holders sell and shorts pile in, a quick reversal can squeeze sellers and lift price sharply. This is the scenario many are watching: heavy bearish chatter could clear the way for a reflexive rebound if buying pressure appears.

Santiment urged followers to keep an eye on the same dashboard to spot rapid shifts in sentiment, and some traders say the crowd’s mood often leads price in the very short term.

Price Moves And Market Backdrop

XRP was last reported down about 4% at $2.04, extending a loss of roughly 6% over the past month. The total crypto market value slipped about 1% to $3.22 trillion on the same day, a pullback that has dragged on many altcoins even as liquidity stays concentrated in the largest tokens.

Order books on smaller pairs have thinned and leveraged positions were trimmed, leaving less depth to absorb big moves. Traders also cited uncertainty around upcoming US policy decisions as a factor behind cautious positioning.

Institutional Push And On-Ledger Activity

Analysts watching the token say it still has room to run toward $2.50 to $2.75 if cross-border liquidity flows pick up and stablecoin projects on the XRP Ledger gain momentum. Reports have disclosed that Ripple has been moving to broaden its institutional reach.

Buy XRP. Stop focusing on any other Crypto Coins

They don’t matter

— Cameron Scrubs (@imcameronscrubs) December 2, 2025

Last month, the firm launched digital asset spot prime brokerage services in the US after acquiring Hidden Road and folding it into Ripple Prime, a combined trading and custody setup for professional clients. That push is being watched as a potential longer-term support for demand.

Vocal Bulls And Market Signals

Despite the FUD surrounding XRP, Cameron Scrubs, founder of Tradeship University, has again urged followers to “buy XRP,” stating that other crypto assets “don’t matter.” In previous posts, he also called to “sell everything and buy XRP.”

Traders are watching these statements closely as sentiment shifts, while on-chain data and social signals are being monitored for indications that the current negative chatter may be starting to ease.

XRP Hit by Renewed FUD Storm as Social Buzz Turns Negative

5 December 2025 at 00:29

Ripple’s native token XRP was trading near $2 on Friday as traders wade through another wave of fear and doubt, with new data from Santiment showing social chatter around the token turning sharply negative after a two month slide of about 31%.

The crypto analytics firm posted a chart from its platform that tracks XRP’s price against total positive and negative comments, along with a combined sentiment line.

Recent readings show social chatter around XRP tilting heavily bearish, a clear shift from the more even mix of views seen earlier in the year.

Santiment’s sentiment gauge tracks price alongside streams of positive and negative comments, and its latest signals show the balance tipping into what it labels the fear zone as bearish messages start to dominate.

😨 XRP (-31% in the past 2 months), unlike Bitcoin, is seeing the most fear, uncertainty, & doubt (FUD) since October, according to our social data.

— Santiment (@santimentfeed) December 4, 2025

Traders Watch For A Repeat Of November’s Reflexive Rebound

On this model, red circles mark days when optimism overwhelms pessimism, the greed zone, while green circles mark sessions when negative commentary swamps bullish talk, a fear zone that often lines up with capitulation by weaker holders.

The firm pointed traders back to late November. It wrote, “The last time we saw near this level of fear from the crowd was Nov. 21st, and $XRP’s price immediately rallied +22% over the next 3 days. After that, greed took over and the rally came to a quick halt. As of now, an opportunity appears to be emerging just like 2 weeks ago.”

Santiment urged followers to keep an eye on the same dashboard, saying, “Monitor how sentiment continues to shift here on this chart, and see what others in crypto can’t.”

The suggestion is that crowd psychology around XRP may once again be setting up a reflexive move, where extreme pessimism creates fuel for a short squeeze.

XRP Extends Losses As Market Drift Pressures Major Altcoins

In price terms, XRP was last down about 4.5% at $2.09, extending a loss of roughly 7% over the past month. The total crypto market value slipped about 1% to $3.22 trillion on the day, a pullback that has weighed on major altcoins even as liquidity remains concentrated in the largest names.

XRP shows relative stability compared with some smaller tokens, although it still feels the drag from thinning order books and cautious positioning. These moves unfold against a backdrop of uncertainty around upcoming US policy decisions, softer global risk appetite and rapid position cuts by leveraged traders who had crowded into earlier rallies.

Analysts watching the token say XRP can still grind toward the $2.50 to $2.75 area if cross border liquidity flows improve and momentum builds around stablecoin projects on the XRP Ledger.

Away from the charts, Ripple has been working to deepen its institutional reach. Last month, the company said it was expanding in the US with the launch of digital asset spot prime brokerage services.

The move follows its acquisition of multi asset prime brokerage firm Hidden Road, which has been folded into Ripple Prime, combining regulatory and operational setups from both groups into a single trading and custody platform for professional clients.

XRP ETFs Record 13-Day Streak As SOL Funds See Largest Outflows Since Launch

5 December 2025 at 00:00

As institutional demand intensifies and the crypto market recovers, US spot XRP Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) continue to lead the sector with a 13-day streak and over $200 million in positive net flows this week, outshining Solana (SOL) ETFs, which recorded their third day of outflows in seven days.

XRP Funds Lead Crypto ETF Inflows

Spot XRP exchange-traded funds have extended their record-breaking streak after registering their thirteenth consecutive day of positive net flows, with $50.27 million in inflows on December 3.

The investment products have seen a remarkable performance since the launch of Canary Capital’s XRPC, the first single-token XRP spot ETF, on November 13, positioning the funds as the fastest-growing altcoin-based category.

Notably, XRPC surpassed all initial expectations and debuted on Nasdaq with a total volume of $58 million, recording around $357.54 million in positive net flows in 13 days. Last week, the second group of XRP funds went live, becoming the largest US ETF launches of 2025 with over $60 million in net inflows each during their first day.

Moreover, the category, led by Grayscale’s GXRP and Franklin Templeton’s XRPZ, surpassed other major ETFs in single-day inflows, including those based on the largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, Solana, Bitcoin (BTC), and Ether (ETH).

Amid this week’s market recovery, XRP ETFs saw $89.65 million on Monday, $67.7 million the following day, and an additional $50.27 million on Wednesday, for a cumulative net inflow of $207.66 million during the first three days of December.

As a result, the leading category surpassed both Bitcoin ETFs’ $52.4 million and Ethereum ETFs’ $51.3 million positive net flows, respectively, during the same three-day period.

With a total of $874.28 million in inflows in 13 days, spot XRP ETFs have surpassed the $618.62 million total inflows of SOL ETFs, which held the record among the second wave of altcoin-based investment products.

Solana ETFs Demand Loses Steam

While XRP ETFs take the spotlight, Solana funds’ momentum has slowed, seeing their largest days of outflows this week. According to SoSovalue data, the investment products recorded $32.9 million in outflows on December 3, marking their third negative net flows day since the category debuted on October 28.

Despite pulling out positive net flows, Bitwise’s BSOL, Fidelity’s FSOL, and Grayscale’s GSOL were unable to absorb 21Shares’ TSOL $41.8 million in outflows. This performance also marks the fourth negative day for TSOL over the past week.

As reported by NewsBTC, Solana ETFs experienced a record performance in November despite the market correction, with $613 million in inflows during their 22 consecutive day positive streak.

However, the remarkable streak ended a week ago when TSOL registered negative net flows for the first time, and the category was unable to absorb them, recording outflows of $8.1 million.

SOL-based investment products started December with outflows worth $13.5 million, which were followed by strong inflows worth $45.77 million on Tuesday. On December 3, the funds registered $32.19 million in outflows, amounting to a negative net flow of $700,000 for the first half of the week, despite the altcoin’s recent price recovery.

XRP Price Slips From Highs as Market Pauses to Reassess Bullish Momentum

4 December 2025 at 23:18

XRP price started a decent increase above $2.120. The price is now correcting gains and might struggle to stay in a positive zone.

  • XRP price started a downside correction and tested the $2.080 zone.
  • The price is now trading below $2.120 and the 100-hourly Simple Moving Average.
  • There is a bearish trend line forming with resistance at $2.110 on the hourly chart of the XRP/USD pair (data source from Kraken).
  • The pair could start another increase if it clears $2.150.

XRP Price Dips Again

XRP price started a downside correction from the $2.220 zone, like Bitcoin and Ethereum. The price dipped below the $2.20 and $2.150 levels to enter a consolidation phase.

The price even dipped below the 50% Fib retracement level of the upward move from the $1.984 swing low to the $2.220 high. Besides, there is a bearish trend line forming with resistance at $2.110 on the hourly chart of the XRP/USD pair. However, the bulls remained active above the $2.080 support.

The price is now trading below $2.10 and the 100-hourly Simple Moving Average. If there is a fresh upward move, the price might face resistance near the $2.110 level and the trend line.

XRP Price

The first major resistance is near the $2.150 level, above which the price could rise and test $2.220. A clear move above the $2.220 resistance might send the price toward the $2.2850 resistance. Any more gains might send the price toward the $2.350 resistance. The next major hurdle for the bulls might be near $2.420.

Another Decline?

If XRP fails to clear the $2.150 resistance zone, it could start a fresh decline. Initial support on the downside is near the $2.080 level and the 61.8% Fib retracement level of the upward move from the $1.984 swing low to the $2.220 high. The next major support is near the $2.040 level.

If there is a downside break and a close below the $2.040 level, the price might continue to decline toward $2.00. The next major support sits near the $1.9850 zone, below which the price could continue lower toward $1.920.

Technical Indicators

Hourly MACD – The MACD for XRP/USD is now gaining pace in the bearish zone.

Hourly RSI (Relative Strength Index) – The RSI for XRP/USD is now below the 50 level.

Major Support Levels – $2.080 and $2.040.

Major Resistance Levels – $2.110 and $2.150.

Ripple CEO Predicts 2026 Will Be A Breakout Year For Crypto

4 December 2025 at 22:00

At Binance Blockchain Week on December 3, Ripple Labs CEO Brad Garlinghouse argued that a rare alignment of regulatory change, institutional demand and real-world utility is setting up crypto for what he called powerful “macro tailwinds” heading into 2026.

“I personally will echo some of the things Richard said: there are so many macro factors that are continuing to provide tailwinds for this industry that I think as we go into 2026 I don’t remember being this optimistic in the last handful of years,” the Ripple CEO told CNBC’s Dan Murphy, speaking alongside Binance CEO Richard Teng and Solana Foundation President Lily Liu.

Ripple CEO Is Optimistic For 2026: Here’s Why

He framed the latest drawdown not as the start of a structural bear market but as a risk-off interlude against a fundamentally improved backdrop. “Crypto has gone through cycles and when you have risk-on people are excited […] now you have kind of a risk-off moment, there’s uncertainty,” he said. The difference this time, he argued, is that the United States—the largest single economy and roughly “22% of global GDP”—is finally moving away from what he described as years of open hostility toward the sector.

“This is a market that has been really openly hostile to crypto for four or five years or maybe longer, and now you have that that has changed significantly, pretty quickly,” he said. Institutions, in his view, are only beginning to adjust. He pointed to the visible presence of traditional asset managers at the event: “You saw Franklin Templeton on stage here, you saw BlackRock on stage just this week. I think Vanguard has now opened up […] Vanguard historically has said ‘we won’t touch crypto’ and now they’ve had a massive sea change.”

On crypto ETFs, the Ripple CEO rejected the idea that the trade was over-hyped. “Definitely no,” he said when asked whether the ETF “floor” narrative had been exaggerated. He stressed how new these vehicles still are in the United States and highlighted early demand for XRP products. “In the last two or three weeks over $700 million have flowed into XRP ETFs, which is just pent-up demand from institutional investors, from investors who want access because they don’t want to custody themselves,” he said.

He argued that the key metric is crypto’s still-small slice of the overall ETF universe. “The total ETF market—only one or two percent of the total ETF market is crypto. I will bet anybody here that a year from now that will be more than one or two percent,” he said. Short-term outflows from Bitcoin products, he suggested, should be viewed in context: “Over 2026 do we really think crypto ETFs are only going to be one or two percent of the total ETF market? No chance.”

Garlinghouse said Ripple’s own prime brokerage business is already seeing that shift in behavior. Institutions that had remained “on the sidelines” due to regulatory uncertainty or risk aversion are now “getting involved and they’re starting small, and they’re going to walk, then they’re going to crawl—or crawl then walk then run.” Asked directly whether recent volatility had deterred institutional capital, he replied: “Definitely not.”

Stablecoins Will Be A Key Pillar

Stablecoins were another pillar of his 2026 thesis. He agreed that in the latest risk-off phase, capital largely rotated into stablecoins rather than exiting on-chain rails, which he said reflects both utility and trust. “People are recognizing stablecoins can be stable and easier to manage,” he said.

Garlinghouse highlighted that Ripple’s own stablecoin, launched “just over a year ago,” has “just passed about a billion market cap,” is “approved and whitelisted in Abu Dhabi,” and is being used as “good collateral on various platforms from a lending point of view.” For him, stablecoins are an entry ramp to broader adoption, alongside other applications that will be built across Solana, Binance and Ripple ecosystems.

On US policy, he said the trajectory has clearly improved, especially for payment tokens. He cited the GENIUS Act as “regulatory clarity for stablecoins” and linked it to growing corporate interest in on-chain payments. After Ripple’s acquisition of GTreasury, which has visibility into “over 10 trillion dollars of payments,” he said “the number of those customers that are already approaching us interested in leveraging stablecoins […] because of that clarity, people are leaning in.”

The Ripple CEO noted that XRP has already received a form of clarity from US federal courts but said broader legislation is still needed. He referenced the “Clarity Act” for crypto, saying there is “still forward momentum” and predicting that “sometime in the first half of next year we’ll see passage of legislation, which will continue to unlock and create more tailwinds for the whole industry.”

He closed with an explicit price target for the next cycle, acknowledging he was “going out on a limb”: “I’ll say Bitcoin $180,000 December 23rd—or December 31st—2026.”

At press time, XRP traded at $2.15.

Fed Turns On The Liquidity Hose, XRP Ready To Ignite, Investor Claims

4 December 2025 at 21:00

Reports have disclosed that the US Federal Reserve has ended its Quantitative Tightening program and has put cash back into markets. According to sources, the Fed injected more than $13 billion through overnight repo operations, the largest such move in years.

Crypto investor and author Paul Barron said that coins like XRP could “bring the fire” now that more liquidity is flowing back into the system. He believes that when the Fed starts easing up, assets with clear utility often react faster than the rest of the market.

Barron added that stronger liquidity usually pulls traders toward tokens that can move money quickly and cheaply, which is why he thinks XRP may see more attention if this trend continues.

Markets reacted quickly. Bitcoin rose about 4% in a 24-hour span to reach $93,800. XRP climbed more than 8%, touching $2.18 as demand picked up.

🔥 THE FED JUST DOUSED THE FLAMES: $13.5B repo injection, 2nd-largest since C@#$D After months of burning through liquidity (QT), they’re flooding the system again. Here’s the pattern: When the Fed brings water, $BTC, $ETH, $XRP brings the FIRE. Risk assets don’t cool down when…

— PaulBarron (@paulbarron) December 2, 2025

Liquidity Push Fuels Market Moves

According to analysts, this type of liquidity shift often lifts risk assets, including crypto. Tom Lee of BitMine said on TV that Bitcoin gained nearly 20% in the weeks following the last time the Fed shifted away from QT.

He noted that the same setup might lead to more upside before the year ends. Many traders are watching how much money returns to markets because it can shape short-term sentiment.

ETF Flows And Long-Term Views

According to reports, new XRP ETFs have already attracted more than $800 million in inflows. Supporters say these inflows can change how investors view XRP, although they don’t remove all uncertainty.

Some hedge fund managers also weighed in, pointing out that over the past 16 years the Fed added close to $9 trillion in liquidity while only removing $3.2 trillion before reversing course.

Utility Tokens May Get More Attention

Some community voices argue that tokens built for payments or settlement may see stronger demand if liquidity continues to rise. One XRP supporter said XRP was made to move money at scale and claimed the market will focus more on assets with real use cases.

Adoption remains mixed. Some companies that previously used Ripple’s tools have stepped back, while others still rely on parts of its payment network. The XRP Ledger is being used, but not always in the same way it was during earlier partnerships.

Outlook For The Market

With Bitcoin holding steady at the $93,000 level, and XRP at $2.22, the market is clearly reacting to the Fed’s change of direction. Liquidity helps drive rallies, but it also creates quick pullbacks and shaky moments.

Barron’s line — that coins like XRP could “bring the fire” — hangs over the market: renewed liquidity may be the spark that helps XRP ignite fresh momentum. But fire can spread fast or fizzle out; traders should stay alert, manage risk, and not get burned if the rally cools as quickly as it heats up.

Best Crypto to Buy Now 4 December – XRP, Pepe, Zcash

By: Tim Hakki
4 December 2025 at 17:35

Yesterday, Bitcoin kicked off another strong uptrend, pulling several top-performing altcoins higher with it. Many are hoping this will be the end of a long downturn triggered shortly after the world’s favourite cryptocurrency set a new all-time high (ATH) of $126,080 on October 6. In the weeks that followed, BTC sank to a seven-month low of $82,000 on November 21.

Yesterday, the broader crypto market climbed 6%, lifting total market capitalization to roughly $3.24 trillion. Today, the rally is cooling off with a 0.7% intraday rise to $3.27 trillion, although crypto bulls hope this is a rest point rather than a retreat.

Additionally, in a bull market, Bitcoin is likely to lose dominance to strong altcoins. So, with that in mind, here’s why XRP, Pepe, and Zcash are the best crypto to buy now.

XRP ($XRP): Driving Innovation in Global Settlement Systems

Ripple’s XRP ($XRP) dominates the cross-border settlement arena thanks to its rapid transaction throughput and low fees. Ripple positions the XRP Ledger as an on-chain alternative to legacy banking rails like SWIFT.

Reports from institutions like the UN Capital Development Fund and the White House have drawn attention to Ripple’s XRPLedger, while a growing roster of fintech partners has helped XRP secure its place as the third-largest non-stablecoin, boasting a market cap exceeding $131 billion.

Ripple’s introduction of RLUSD, a USD-backed stablecoin, signals the company’s broader plan to lead the next era of international payments. Each transfer of RLUSD on the XRPL burns a small amount of XRP, gradually reducing supply and tightening the connection between XRP’s utility and long-term valuation.

best crypto xrp

XRP finally broke out after the conclusion of a five-year legal battle with the SEC this year, hitting a new high of $3.65 in July. However, its current price of around $2.17 marks a retracement of 40% since then.

With its relative strength index (RSI) now at 54 and price action aligning with its 30-day moving average, XRP appears to be regaining strength. The recent rollout of nine XRP ETFs in the U.S. is expected to introduce a wave of institutional demand throughout the Christmas period.

Further ETF approvals are anticipated, and if Congress manages to pass comprehensive crypto legislation before the year closes, many analysts believe XRP could realistically pursue $10 or more by 2026.

Pepe (PEPE): The Internet’s Most Recognizable Frog Eyes Another Breakout

Pepe ($PEPE) debuted in April 2023 and rapidly climbed the meme coin ranks, drawing on the global popularity of Matt Furie’s well-loved Boy’s Club character of the same name.

The token now commands a market cap above $2 billion and enjoys widespread cultural recognition. Elon Musk even swapped his X profile image for a Pepe meme at one point, igniting speculation about his potential position in the coin. It is known that he holds Bitcoin and Dogecoin.

Currently priced around $0.0000048, PEPE sits nearly 83% below its late-2024 high of $0.00002803 after a slow summer and muted fourth quarter.

With the RSI climbing above 67, buying momentum appears to be building ahead of the weekend.

Currently hovering near its lowest valuation in nearly two years, Pepe’s current value poses a strategic entry point for those who want the high-upside potential meme coin experience on the next bull run.

Expectations for clearer U.S. regulatory guidance could revive investor appetite across crypto. Such an environment would provide PEPE with the momentum needed to revisit its previous all-time high before the end of the year.

Zcash (ZEC): Privacy Pioneer Rockets Over 1,400% in 12 Months

Zcash ($ZEC), introduced in 2016 as a confidentiality-focused fork of Bitcoin, remains one of the most advanced privacy coins on the market.

ZEC employs zk-SNARKs, or state-of-the-art zero-knowledge cryptography that validates transactions without exposing sender, recipient, or transaction details. Users can select transparent or shielded addresses, creating flexibility for both privacy and compliance advocates.

Zcash has surged 377% over the last year. Now trading near $362 with a market cap around $6 billion, ZEC accounts for just over a third of the privacy-coin sector’s roughly $16 billion valuation.

With its RSI near 48 and climbing, buying momentum could build over the weekend, pushing the price higher in a short time. If December proves to be bullish, Zcash could easily run toward $2,500 before year’s end.

Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER): Where Meme Culture Meets Advanced Bitcoin Layer-2 Scaling

Among the emerging projects drawing early attention ahead of 2026 is Bitcoin Hyper ($HYPER), a Bitcoin layer-2 network packaged in a meme-inspired brand. Beyond its playful exterior, HYPER aims to dramatically enhance Bitcoin’s performance with high-speed transactions, ultra-low fees, and full smart-contract support.

Built using the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM), the project integrates decentralized governance and a Canonical Bridge that enables frictionless Bitcoin movement across multiple chains.

The presale has already attracted roughly $29 million in funding, and analyst Borch Crypto suggests the token could climb as much as 100× once publicly listed.

A recent Coinsult audit found zero smart-contract vulnerabilities, reinforcing investor trust. The HYPER token underpins network fees, staking, and governance, with early presale participants earning returns up to 40% APY.

With Bitcoin Hyper’s full launch planned for 2026, both Bitcoin veterans and newcomers have a rare opportunity to position themselves early in what may become a major extension of Bitcoin’s real-world utility.

New ChatGPT AI Predicts the Price of XRP, Bitcoin, Solana by the End of 2025

By: Tim Hakki
4 December 2025 at 17:30

The latest edition of ChatGPT has released new data-driven AI price outlooks for XRP, Bitcoin, and Solana heading into month-end, warning traders that all three assets may see a lot of volatility over the coming month, and leading projects might swing either way.

Below are ChatGPT’s dual-scenario predictions outlining monumental potential gains and the downside hazards for each asset throughout December.

XRP (XRP): ChatGPT Predicts Either a Sub-Dollar or a Rally Toward $15 by New Year

In its bearish outlook, ChatGPT suggests Ripple’s XRP ($XRP) could slide from its current $2.16 range down 63% to roughly $0.80 in December if market sentiment remains bearish.

chatgpt ai predicts xrp
Source: ChatGPT

Such a decline would contrast sharply with XRP’s explosive rally earlier this year, when it surged to a new all-time high (ATH) of $3.65 in July, its first in seven years, after Ripple scored a critical legal victory against the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Throughout 2025, XRP has largely traded between $2 and $3. Its relative strength index (RSI) now sits at a neutral 52 after recovering from Monday’s oversold reading of 27.

In a more optimistic scenario, ChatGPT sees room for XRP quadrupling its ATH, climbing nearly 600% and hitting $15 before the month ends.

The recent approval of nine U.S. spot XRP ETFs could draw a wave of institutional inflows during the holiday season and winter, mirroring the initial enthusiasm seen when Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs first launched.

Additional XRP ETF approvals are likely to follow soon, adding to the chance that 2026 will be a seminal year for the coin, so those who buy or hold now could be lining themselves up nicely.

Bitcoin ($BTC): ChatGPT Sees a Christmas Rally Toward $230,000 or a Retreat to $75,000

Bitcoin ($BTC), the world’s largest cryptocurrency, set a fresh ATH of $126,080 on October 6. ChatGPT’s longer-term model projects the possibility of BTC reaching the $320,000 zone by 2026.

Often viewed as digital gold, Bitcoin continues absorbing institutional and retail capital as a potential hedge in uncertain macroeconomic environments. BTC currently accounts for nearly $1.9 trillion of the crypto market’s roughly $3.27 trillion total valuation.

With inflation cooling and trader optimism improving ahead of the holidays, Bitcoin may attempt another retest of previous highs. The Federal Reserve’s most recent rate cut could also boost liquidity and enhance demand through December.

On the bearish side, ChatGPT warns that further heavy selling could drag BTC down toward $75,000, a move that may signal a prolonged crypto winter carrying deep into 2026.

Still, the AI’s $320,000 projection remains plausible, if a little optimistic, by early 2026, particularly if U.S. lawmakers finalize long-promised digital asset regulations and deliver the long-promised US Strategic Bitcoin reserve.

Solana (SOL): ChatGPT’s Bearish Target Falls to $30, While a Bullish Wave Could Send SOL Up 450%

Solana ($SOL) is one of 2025’s most active blockchain ecosystems, supporting over $9 billion in total value locked and maintaining a market cap of over $80 billion. Developer involvement and network usage continue expanding rapidly.

Newly launched Solana ETFs from Bitwise and Grayscale have generated early excitement, with investors looking for demand similar to the early days of Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF trading.

SOL beat Bitcoin and XRP today and rose 1.4% over the past 24 hours to trade at $143, and if market momentum builds, ChatGPT estimates a potential rise all the way up to $1,200, quadrupling its ATH of $293 set in January.

On the bearish end, ChatGPT AI forecasts that Solana could plunge to $70 within a month, a decrease of roughly 51% from the current price.

SOL previously climbed to $250 in January before retreating to around $100 in April. Although today’s price is still far below recent peaks, technical patterns point toward a possible breakout from a recent bullish flag.

Growing institutional interest in real-world asset tokenization, driven by firms like BlackRock and Franklin Templeton building on Solana, adds credibility to ChatGPT’s bullish scenario.

Maxi Doge (MAXI): A Fast-Rising Meme Coin Missing From ChatGPT’s Predictions

While ChatGPT highlights impressive bull cases for major multi-billion-dollar cap coins, newer presale tokens often have greater room for explosive growth. One rising contender is Maxi Doge ($MAXI), which has already raised nearly $4.3 million off the back of its campaign to be the next major Doge-inspired meme coin.

MAXI’s storyline centers on Maxi Doge, a crypto degen and blood relative of Dogecoin, who has spent years pumping weights and meme coins in a bid to steal the limelight. The project leans heavily on viral humor, community engagement, and smart social media marketing to accelerate its user base.

As an ERC-20 asset, MAXI gains from Ethereum’s energy-efficient consensus and vast developer ecosystem, advantages that Dogecoin’s older proof-of-work design lacks.

The presale is currently offering staking rewards of up to 72% APY, though yields will shrink as more users participate.

MAXI is priced at $0.0002715 in the active presale stage, with scheduled price increases in later rounds. Purchases can be made via MetaMask or Best Wallet.

Dogecoin stands no chance!

XRP On-Chain Velocity Hits Yearly High As Network Activity Explodes

4 December 2025 at 15:00

XRP has reclaimed the $2.10 level after a strong rebound across the broader crypto market, signaling renewed confidence following several days of fear, volatility, and sharp pullbacks. Analysts now see the potential for a sustained recovery as momentum returns and buyers show signs of stepping back in. The reclaim of this key level comes at a crucial moment, with traders closely watching whether XRP can build enough strength to challenge higher resistances in the coming sessions.

Adding to the renewed optimism, a new report from CryptoOnchain on CryptoQuant highlights a major spike in XRP Ledger Velocity, marking one of the strongest on-chain signals of 2025. On December 2, the Velocity metric surged to 0.0324, its highest value of the year. Velocity measures how frequently XRP moves across the network, serving as a direct indicator of economic activity, liquidity, and transactional demand.

Such a dramatic rise in Velocity shows that XRP is circulating rapidly among users rather than sitting dormant in wallets. It reflects increased participation from traders, active holders, and possibly even whales, pointing toward heightened engagement on the network.

Network Activity Surges as Velocity Signals Peak 2025 Engagement

According to the CryptoOnchain report, the latest spike in XRP Ledger Velocity indicates a dramatic shift in how XRP is being used across the network. Instead of sitting idle in cold wallets or being held for long-term storage, XRP is rapidly changing hands among market participants. This level of circulation suggests that traders, active users, and possibly whales are driving significantly higher transaction volume than usual.

XRP Ledger Velocity | Source: CryptoQuant

CryptoOnchain explains that such a strong jump in Velocity typically signals high liquidity and deep participation across the ecosystem. When coins move this quickly, it means the asset is being used in real economic activity—whether for trading, transfers, arbitrage, or strategic repositioning by large holders. This type of behavior often aligns with periods of heightened volatility, increased speculation, or structural shifts in market sentiment.

Regardless of whether price trends upward or downward, the data confirms that the XRP Ledger is entering one of its most active phases of 2025. User engagement has reached a yearly peak, with more participants interacting with the network and more coins circulating than at any point this year.

Such elevated activity often precedes or accompanies major market movements, reinforcing the idea that XRP is transitioning into a more dynamic and liquid phase as the recovery unfolds.

XRP Faces Heavy Resistance in a Weakening Daily Structure

XRP’s daily chart shows an attempted rebound toward the $2.15–$2.20 range, but the broader structure remains pressured by a persistent downtrend. After the sharp sell-off in late October and November—which pushed XRP below the $2.00 level for the first time in months—the asset is now trying to stabilize. The recent bounce reflects short-term buying interest, yet the price still trades below all major moving averages, signaling that bulls have not fully regained control.

XRP testing key resistance | Source: XRPUSDT chart on TradingView

The 50-day SMA is currently sloping downward near $2.35, acting as immediate resistance. The 100-day SMA around $2.55 and the 200-day SMA near $2.60 form a stacked barrier above price, confirming a structurally bearish setup. For XRP to build meaningful upside momentum, it must reclaim at least the 50-day SMA and flip it into support—something it has failed to do since late September.

Support remains stable around $2.00–$2.05, where buyers have defended the level repeatedly with long lower wicks. A breakdown below this area could expose XRP to deeper losses toward $1.80. Meanwhile, volume remains muted, suggesting the rebound lacks strong conviction.

Analyst Compares Buying XRP Now To Buying NVIDIA Shares In 2000 At $0.35

4 December 2025 at 13:00

A crypto market analyst has compared XRP to NVIDIA, an American technology company with one of the biggest tech success stories in history. The analyst implied that buying XRP today could mirror the opportunity investors had when purchasing NVIDIA shares in 2000 at just $0.35. The comparison emphasizes the long-term potential of the XRP price and highlights the importance of HODLing.

XRP Today Shows Growth Potential Like NVIDIA In 2000

A leading market expert, Egrag Crypto, has drawn a striking parallel between the current XRP price and the early days of NVIDIA. He suggested that buying XRP now could be akin to purchasing NVIDIA shares at just $0.35, as recorded in 2000. At the time of writing, the shares are priced around $180, representing a staggering 51,329% increase from over two decades ago.

Egrag Crypto points out that a $10,000 investment in NVIDIA at $0.35 per share in 2000 would have secured roughly 28,571 shares. At today’s prices, those shares would be worth over $5,142,780, demonstrating an investment strategy focused more on maintaining conviction and patience than timing or predicting the market perfectly. Beyond this, the analyst’s comparison illustrates the power of investing long-term in disruptive technologies, showing how early adoption and willingness to hold through volatility can result in life-changing gains.

Applying this perspective to XRP, Egrag Crypto highlighted that the cryptocurrency has surged from $0.006 to $3.65 over the past 10 years. By comparing the altcoin to NVIDIA shares, he suggests the cryptocurrency could have similar potential for transformative, explosive growth. As a result, he implied that the current XRP price of $2.2 may present a potential entry point for investors willing to commit to a disciplined long-term strategy.

Much like NVIDIA in its early days around 2000, XRP is still in the initial stages of its growth trajectory. The cryptocurrency recently emerged from a prolonged legal battle with the US SEC that had constrained its development and price appreciation for nearly 7 years. With increasing utility and ongoing ecosystem developments, XRP is well-positioned to grow over time. While its price has declined roughly 20% this year, according to CoinMarketCap, analysts remain optimistic about its long-term outlook.

XRP On-Chain Activity Hits Record Levels

On the technical front, XRP has experienced a remarkable surge in on-chain activity, signaling heightened engagement across the network. Data from CryptoQuant shows that on December 2, the velocity metric for the XRP Ledger (XRPL) spiked to a yearly high of $0.0324.

Analysts from CryptoQuant have revealed that the rise in circulation velocity suggests that XRP is being actively traded rather than sitting idle in cold wallets. The increase points to high liquidity and significant participation from whales who appear to be moving large amounts of tokens.

Additionally, such activity indicates that the XRP network is experiencing unprecedented levels of engagement, with more coins changing hands in a short time than the market has seen so far in 2025.

XRP Price Predictions: AI Forecasts $4.40 By March 2026, Analysts Target Up To $6

4 December 2025 at 12:22

Recent bullish predictions for the XRP price have emerged, hinting at a potential for new all-time highs (ATHs) by March 2026 for one of the market’s leading altcoins.

XRP Price Projected To Reach New ATH By Q1 2026

According to projections from ChatGPT, XRP could reach approximately $4.40 by the first quarter of 2026, a notable increase of 120% from current levels around $2.

In contrast to the AI forecast, some analysts believe that the XRP price has the potential for a stronger rally. They suggest that structural changes could allow XRP to exceed $5 and potentially approach $6 by 2026.

Several factors support their optimistic view. For instance, key aspects of the US Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) case against Ripple were resolved earlier this year, which they believe could encourage banks and payment providers to adopt XRP for cross-border transactions, fostering greater confidence in its utility.

Additionally, Ripple’s ecosystem is expanding well beyond XRP. In December 2024, the company launched a dollar-pegged stablecoin known as RLUSD, which has already achieved a market cap exceeding $1 billion.

While RLUSD itself may not directly boost XRP’s price, it has the potential to attract more participants to Ripple’s network, thereby creating secondary demand for XRP as a bridging asset.

Analysts posit that a steady pipeline of RLUSD adoption could enhance Ripple’s revenue growth, consequently driving the XRP price higher.

$2.60 Key For Momentum Shift

Moreover, analysts point to the upcoming Bitcoin (BTC) Halving, expected in 2028, as a potential catalyst for a broad crypto market rally. The analysts assert that the XRP price has historically benefited from such cycles.

From a technical standpoint, chart analysts see XRP setting up for a potential breakout. Price action has formed a base around the low $2 range, which could lay the groundwork for further recovery.

According to the analysts, if bullish momentum can push the token above significant resistance levels around $2.60, it could change momentum indicators to a positive stance. Moreover, a sustained rally into the mid-$3 territory might then pave the way for XRP to reach the $4 to $5 range.

The MicroStrategy Of Asia: Japanese Company Announces Plan For Bitcoin And XRP Treasury

4 December 2025 at 12:00

Bitcoin and XRP have become central to a bold corporate shift in Japan, with AltPlus announcing that both digital assets will be formally incorporated into its long-term treasury strategy. The publicly listed company disclosed the move in its recent shareholder filing, outlining a multi-layered plan that positions cryptocurrencies as foundational components of its future financial and operational framework.

Bitcoin And XRP Lead Treasury

According to a post by “BankXRP” on X (formerly Twitter), AltPlus is expected to purchase and hold Bitcoin and XRP through a newly established cryptocurrency purchase and management division. The company frames this step as part of a long-horizon capital strategy supported by blockchain transparency, expanding global regulatory clarity, and the growing institutional acceptance of digital assets. In the filing, Bitcoin and XRP are highlighted for their scarcity, decentralization, predictability, and fast, low-cost transactional capabilities—attributes AltPlus expects will contribute to long-term value growth and broader financial-market utility.

Moreover, the treasury initiative is designed to strengthen the company’s financial base, diversify revenue streams, and establish a stable earnings engine through staking-based income. AltPlus presents the move as a structured method to enhance capital efficiency and reinforce corporate value over time. The company notes that holding both Bitcoin and XRP aligns its balance-sheet strategy with emerging global trends in digital-asset management and institutional-grade treasury practices.

AltPlus also outlines its risk-management system to address crypto-market volatility, liquidity risks, cybersecurity threats, regulatory changes, and speculative trading patterns. The company plans to implement investment-scale limits, a controlled holding-ratio strategy, and a proprietary internal asset-management system to govern acquisition, custody, tracking, and treasury integration. These measures are designed to maintain governance discipline, ensure compliance, and safeguard digital-asset operations as part of the broader corporate structure.

AltPlus’ Web3 And Digital-Asset Expansion

Beyond treasury allocation, AltPlus frames Bitcoin and XRP as key elements in a broader transition into digital-asset operations and Web3-enabled business development. The filing situates this shift within a global context, noting that major financial institutions and listed companies worldwide are increasingly incorporating crypto assets into holding, settlement, and capital-management functions.

Building on this trend, AltPlus plans to integrate blockchain infrastructure into its Entertainment and Solutions business. This includes exploring Web3 functionality, token-based engagement models, and digital-asset utilities across its gaming and IP ecosystem. These initiatives are intended to unlock new business models, enhance operational flexibility, and develop internal expertise for a digital-native market environment.

The company’s decision to include XRP directly in its treasury strategy is one of the standout elements of the announcement. AltPlus positions XRP as a long-term corporate asset alongside Bitcoin, marking a notable step forward for institutional crypto adoption in Japan. Through treasury transformation, staking-driven income generation, and Web3 ecosystem expansion, AltPlus is creating a strategic framework similar to the high-conviction treasury approach seen at MicroStrategy. At the same time, it is establishing a distinctly Japanese model focused on utility, diversification, and forward-looking corporate innovation.

Expert Says An XRP Supply Shock Will Only Happen In These Conditions

4 December 2025 at 12:00

A leading market expert argues that most investors misunderstand what would need to happen for an XRP supply shock to unfold. The analyst stressed that a true supply shock is driven by measurable XRP absorption, with early signs showing how quickly tokens are removed from circulation relative to how quickly they return.

How A Real XRP Supply Shock Forms

Crypto analyst Pumpius took to X this Wednesday to outline the conditions he believes must align before XRP can experience an actual supply shock. The expert noted that many in the community often talk about an explosive squeeze that could drive XRP’s price higher, yet few understand the mechanics behind such a shock.

Pumpius argued that a real supply shock is not driven by speculation or hype, but by a measurable reduction in the amount of XRP available on the open market. In his view, such an event only occurs when tokens are absorbed faster than they can be replenished, creating an imbalance between circulating supply and future buyers.

The analyst explained that the first big trigger for a supply shock would be the launch of Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs). Once all ETFs go live, their issuers will need to buy real XRP rather than derivatives or IOUs, which could gradually drain the amount of available tokens on crypto exchanges.

Pumpius added that institutional participation would amplify the supply impact of ETFs, since banks and large asset managers typically custody assets rather than actively trade them. He explained that XRP set aside for settlement purposes, treasury management, or long-term liquidity planning would be removed from day-to-day circulation, further contributing to a potential supply shock.

Another point Pumpius mentioned in his post was that companies could start holding XRP in their corporate treasuries to support international payments and XRP Ledger (XRPL) based settlement corridors. If this occurs, the analyst suggests that these operational XRP balances would remain in working capital accounts rather than flowing back to exchanges.

He added that Ripple’s management of its escrow further limits XRP’s supply. Currently, Ripple has little to no incentive to oversupply the market, and unused escrow releases are often returned, keeping the amount of net new XRP entering circulation tightly controlled.

On-Chain Utility And ZK Identity Drive Supply Crunch

In his post on X, Pumpius highlighted two other factors needed for XRP to experience a real supply shock. He stated that growing on-chain utility will further reduce the supply of XRP, ultimately contributing to a supply crunch. These include tokenized funds built on the XRPL, such as RLUSD, liquidity pools, identity layers, and payment rails—all of which rely on XRP as a core asset.

A Zero Knowledge identity infrastructure on the XRP Ledger could also lock away more tokens. Pumpius emphasized that these systems link XRP to identity-verified flows and validation processes, which naturally tighten supply.

Together, these forces create the ideal conditions for a real XRP supply shock. Pumpius notes that as exchange balances drop and OTC desks hold less inventory, overall liquidity becomes thinner. Buyers are then forced to compete for the shrinking supply of tokens, potentially driving prices higher as demand outweighs supply.
