I don’t know about you guys, but I am thirsty for the upcoming season of Interview with the Vampire, especially after that gorgeously grotesque Shakespearean tragedy that was season two. Season three will shift its focus to Lestat de Lioncourt’s story and will be told through the power of rock music. In honor of the levitating rock-god's perspective, the show has officially been rebranded as The Vampire Lestat, which AMC+ is calling “a sexy pilgrimage across space, time, and trauma.”

As we cruise into the second week of December, I continue to cruise Amazon Prime Video for the best movies to watch. This week, I’m taking you deep undercover into the world of improv comedy with Bryce Dallas Howard and Orlando Bloom, then we’re going back to college with a very funny Tom Hanks circa 2011. After that, it’s a gritty Western featuring a fierce Peter Dinklage followed by a must-see, award-winning post-apocalyptic film. Lastly, we’ll join an amazing race to save a kidnapped Santa Claus.

One of the most anticipated television events of the year has arrived—well, at least part one of it has—and with it comes the return of our favorite monster-fighting 80s teens. It’s been a long three-year wait, but Stranger Things season five has begun. The only bummer is that it’s dropping in three volumes. While we'd all love for the final season to drop at once, we must be patient.

As we enter the first of the last weekends of 2025, I dare say it is the season to be bingeful with your time off. This weekend, for the most part, I’m keeping it fun and sweet with my Amazon Prime Video selections, but I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t throw something sideways at you, just for gasps and laughs.

December on HBO Max will see its fair share of holiday content, but as far as new shows and movies are concerned, we’re venturing deep into documentary territory with a plethora of music stories about Paul Anka, Wizkid, Jeff Buckley, and Counting Crows. We’ll also see the debut of three highly anticipated, long-awaited movie sequels, along with the first comedy special from SNL star Sarah Sherman, and a new Hard Knocks series focused on the NFC East.

HBO Max has announced what’s leaving their platform in December, and while I’m sad to see some titles go, there’s still plenty of time to watch these gems while you still can. From reality TV shows and original documentaries to film franchises like Superman, along with a lot of Justice Leaguecontent, there’s lots to keep you busy. Oh, and don't miss out on seeing Christmas classics like Elf and A Christmas Story before they’re gone!
